Christmas and Culture Day at Lakeshore

It's a shame that Christmas can become more a cause for anxiety than joy. Christmas means so many different things to so many people. Let's look at it from a fresh perspective. Wouldn't it be great to escape for a little while, this Christmas? If we could just sneak off and celebrate Christmas somewhere else just to see how they do it. Let's get away from the giant department store commercial, the stressful calendar arranging, and the expectations we hope to live up to.

This is our hope with our annual Christmas and Culture Day. We want to take you to a different country. Each year we chose a different place to travel to for a day. We take that place and its culture, and transform the camp to look something like it. You'll get to sample food, hear the music, speak the language, make the crafts, and take part in the Christmas traditions from that place.

This event is geared to all ages, whether you're a child who loves everything Christmas, or you're an adult who loves travel and other cultures. We work hard to make this day as authentic a celebration of our chosen culture as possible.
