Wilderness Camp

This is Lakeshore's outpost camp. Five platforms sit atop a tall hill that stands above our Tent and Trailer area. The camp sleeps about 30 on bunk beds sheltered by sturdy tents.

The camp is equipped with a kitchen area, with propane stoves, charcoal grills, and cooking utensils. There is no running water, but we do have large water canisters and near-by outhouses. Just below the camp is a cold-water shower house with a water spigot where water can be gathered. Butane lanterns are provided and there is a camp fire ring surrounded by benches. Below Tent A is a vesper area, carved out on the side of the hill.

During the Spring, Fall, and Winter, groups can rent the Wilderness Camp site for a low price. To make reservations, email office@lakeshoreuma.com or call 731-584-6012.
