The Waterfront
This is where the camp gets its name. A sandy beach sits on the edge of Kentucky Lake with a beautiful view of the water and the hills that surround us. Two large crosses grace the area-one lighted cross, then the iconic slanted cross made from fallen cedar trees. A bonfire ring lies nearby, and a dock is the resting place for our motorized boats during the summer. Canoes, kayaks, and paddleboats are available if you want to take an adventure, and occasionally our sailboat makes trips on the river. Whether you're coming down to play in the sand, the water, warm yourself by a fire, or just sit on a bench and enjoy the sounds of the water, the waterfront is great scenery for whatever you're doing.
