Dining Hall

Lakeshore's spacious dining area will seat 122 people comfortably with the possibility of adding more tables for larger groups. If additional places are required an adjacent room can be set up to expand the seating. During retreat season, buffet style meals prepared by Lakeshore kitchen staff are served from two hot food bars at the front of the dining hall. Lakeshore menus are designed specifically for the type of group onsite and include two entrees along with vegetables, as well as homemade cookies and those famous Lakeshore yeast rolls. Saturday noon and dinner meals offer a full salad bar. A drink station providing juices, coffee and milk at breakfast and tea, coffee, Crystal Light and herbal tea is available for the noon and dinner meals. Meals are served at 8:00 am, 12:00 noon and 5:30 pm. A Friday evening meal is not offered without advance approval.

Use of the kitchen facilities in the Conference Center is restricted to Lakeshore staff; however, groups renting Kaigler Lakeside or Hope Lodges may choose to prepare meals using the kitchen facilities in these units. A kitchen is also available to Day Use groups in the Administration Building.

Snacks, including coffee or punch, muffins and/or cookies may be ordered for pre-designated times for a minimum fee of $40 or $2.00 per person, whichever is higher. Reservations for this service must be made in advance.
