"Our Mission"
From "creek stomping" to star gazing, from rocking chairs to water skiing, Lakeshore United Methodist Assembly offers 700 acres of woods, streams, and lakes; a quiet place that shouts the good news that all of us, young and old, are children of God. To compliment and support the ministry of the United Methodist Church, schools, and other non-profit groups, Lakeshore provides varied year round programming whether in comfortable cabins or wilderness tents. Some come to rest, to have fun, to grow in their understanding of environmental stewardship, to study and reflect, or, through experiential learning, to find God and each one's place in God's world. Our purpose is for all to know that they have been in the presence of God.
